Rural Finance North is an appointed Representative of Rural Finance Ltd and as such adopts its policy:
Rural Finance Limited has a zero-tolerance approach to slavery and is committed to preventing acts of slavery and human trafficking from occurring within its business and apposes those high standards on it’s Appointed Representatives, Introducer Appointed Representatives and Funders.
Company Structure
Rural Finance Ltd is an agricultural, commercial and industrial finance brokerage. Operating throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
We work with a number of different funders, Appointed Representatives and Introducer Appointed Representatives.
As a brokerage firm we are classed as a financial institution that facilitates in the buying and selling of financial securities between the buyer and funder.
Due Diligence Process
Rural Finance Ltd:
- Expect our Funders to have suitable anti-slavery and human trafficking policies and processes in place within their own businesses.
- We carry out yearly audits on our Appointed Representatives to make sure they are complying with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
- All staff are to be provided training on the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and the companies procedures.
- Encourage staff to identify and report any potential breaches with regards to the companies Anti-Slavery Policy Statement.
- Whistle blowers are protected through our confidential reporting process.
The above procedures is designed to:
- Identify and assess potential risk areas in our business and supply chain.
- Reduce the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our business and supply chain
- Monitor any potential risk
- Provide adequate protection for whistle blowers.
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Rural Finance Limited slavery and human trafficking statement.
